I can't even begin to express my gratitude to the brave men and women who have fought for my freedom for almost 300 years.

I am especially grateful to the members of my family who have served in any capacity. 

From My Cherokee ancestors who fought to the death to keep their land, my Great Grandfather who served several grueling years in the Confederate Army, to my Grandpa who was the most handsome Navy man I ever did see!

There is nothing I love more than learning about where I come from. The good and the bad. Well, only one thing... Teaching about it. Thank goodness I have the freedom to do so!
